My parents stay in an house which come under the pagadi system. It is my moms house where she was born. She is staying there down last 70 years. My father shifted there after my parents got married as my mom is the only child of her parents. I am also the only child of my parents.i am married. I am staying with my husband in his house which is owned by my mother in law. As my parents are old, I stay with them on the week ends and keep on visiting them during the week days regularly. As it is my mother's parental house, the rent receipt is in the name of my maternal grand mother who passed away 20 years back. My mother wants the rent receipt to be made in my name to avoid future property issues which may arise after her as i am a married daughter and the rental property cannot be transferred by will. My aadhar card, pan card and bank ststements have my mother's address as correspondence. The landlord is against this transfer and insists on transferring in my mother's name and not mine. He is also asking 2lac for tranfering the receipt in the new name without any legal papers in writing. What stand should I take?

Out of 90 flats there are only 3 flats with a single bedroom size 720 sq.ft Rest are between 1100 and 1400 sq.ft I am a retrd. Sr. citizen aged 79 and live with my wife on a meagre pension. I had paid full amt of charges till 2012 after which the charges went up very high I requested the association to limit my charges to Rs.2000 pm and it was agreed. Suddenly this year the association compelled me to pay Rs.3200 pm threatening legal action. The association is registered under co op society act and not registered under KOA act 1972 . Due to lower interest on sr. citizen savings my income is down and difficult for me to pay the enhanced rate. My request to you to find a remedy for me and I beg to ask if I may approach Consumer grievance redressal court. I bought this flat for my retirement 12 years ago fo Rs. 7 lakhs only and the rate of maintenance in a few years will overtake my buying price. What is the legal remedy ? Grateful for urgent reply as the age of the association will take place end of this month I want to place your case.

Boundary wall encroaching road. Sir's, I bought a property in Kerala on 2016 and reconstructed the boundary wall facing main road which is in a zig zag shape. After the construction of the wall some local peoples including the ward member claimed the wall is encroaching the Road. But I just reconstructed the wall as per the area sketch provided to me from the village office and as per the extend mentioned in the property deed including three prior deeds. Currently I am in an emergency situation and the locals are creating problems and not allowing me to sell it .The demand from them is to straighten the wall . I may lose more than 1 Cent of land if I accepted their demand. Kindly suggest me how I can prove them there is no willful/ illegal encroachment done by me. Regards Sreehari

I have a case pending under N I act 138 where I have paid rs 90000/- to the party and balance and of rs 50000/- is to be paid. I have missed two dates due to genuine reason and now arrest warrant has been issued against me. Now I want to know how to proceed further. As my lawyer says don't appear in court without money as court will send you to jail. I want to know whether recall of warrant issued can be possible because I'm facing serious financial crisis. And my lawyer also says that I have to take bail again and then rest of the proceeding will take place. Please guide me or give some experience lawyer who can guide me. Thanks.
