Before 1956 act can I claim my father's( late ravinder rao) mother's(late appayamma) mother's(late dondapati) property, on behalf of my father (ravinder rao) when dondapathi having one daughter (late appayam) and son (late xyz)?

Sir, as per the Hindu Succession Act you fall under a Class 1 hires, this implies that you have an absolute right guaranteed by law to claim your share of your father’s property. As you are the son you will get highest share after widow. Further you can also claim your share of the property of your mother also. However, your share in Dondapathi’s property will arise only after satisfying share of her daughter. Nevertheless you can claim share through your father.
