For assessing a faculty candidate, the University Grants Commission Guidelines for Assistant Professor, 2016, UGC Eligibility Norms 2017 for Professors & Teaching Staff and the UGC norms for appointment to the posts of Professor are followed, which mentions the necessary criteria of papers to be published before further appointment, therefore, your tenure will have to be assessed on this basis.
