Current VAT rate

What is the current VAT rate in Delhi, as yesterday I was charged in restaurant 12.5% for VAT, 6% for service tax but somewhere in news I found that VAT rate is 5% . Delhi govt. slashed VAT rate from 12.5% to 5%

Presenting Budget for financial year 2016-17, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, in May 2016 slashed the Value Added Tax (VAT) rate from 12.5 percent to 5 percent. So at present the VAT for Delhi is 5%
