Error in Exam Results
Sir/Madam, I had appeared the TNPSC Group I Services Preliminary Examination for the year 2014 and scored 170 Marks (114 out of 200 Questions are correct) as per the valuation done by the TNPSC and did not qualify for the Main Examination. On getting the details from the TNPSC through RTI Act, they have averred that 171.5 (115 out of 200 questions) marks is the last qualified mark under Backward Class (Person Studied in Tamil Medium Category). Thus I missed the opportunity to qualify for the Main examination by 1.5 Marks i.e., 1 question. Subsequently, I obtained my OMR answer sheet from the TNPSC through RTI Act. On analyzing the answer key issued by the TNPSC, i found that the TNPSC did a mistake that they had put wrong answers for two questions. For those two questions, I have written correct answers and by the mistake committed by the TNPSC in preparing the answer key, I was denied to qualify for the Main Examination as I am just 1.5 mark i.e., 1 question behind the cut off marks. The process of Main Written Examination and Interview for the said TNPSC Group I Services have been completed by the TNPSC as of now. In this regard, I request your valuable advice that If I approach the Court, can I get any fruitful result? or guide me to handle the matter to make it in favour of me.
