HR demanding resignation letter
My wife's employer HR asked my wife to put down the paper immediately because she has tried to open a cupboard kept near the open area where bags are kept. My question is it legal for a HR to ask a women employee to write down resignation on a white paper immediately without giving time to think. Please advise

No emplyee can be forced to resign. She should be given minimum natural right to explain before the Emplyer takes any action. The employer is avoiding their responsiblities to follow the minimum procedure by forcing regignation.
If the employer is threatening to file any ciminal complaint with police for her unauthorised/criminal action and this regination is a settlement she accepted, then she has to decide.
