Maintenance Suit by Minor Wife

Hi,

Minor wife can file a petition for manintece as although the marriage is not valid in the eye of law as marriage is form of contact and for the valid marriage the girl should be atleast of 18 year but for the benefit or protection of women the minor wife can file a petition for maintenance and if husband is not in position to provide the maintenance, she has right to claim maintencs from parents till she becomes major according to the section 125 of Criminal procedure code.
