Mandatory to change surname after marriage

It is not mandatory provided you would like to continue all accounts and transactions in your old name.

It is absolutely not mandatory to change surname and neither can anyone force. It will be purely on your wish if you want to change. Please follow the required procedure if you wish to change surname in bank account/passport. Each has it's own procedure.
