I own a private preschool (not a franchisee) which is registered as an LLP in bangalore. Can I register it with government as an LLP or do I need to convert it to a private limited company? Please advise

You do not need to convert it to a private limited company as the structure of your school is your choice. The registration process of a LLP is cheaper and faster when compared with a limited company but on the other hand a limited company has certain benefits over a LLP as well; for instance a limited co. is more structured with definite ownership and management and also has a better footing and recognition in the society in comparison to a LLP. However, there is no compulsion regarding your choice between a LLP and a private limited company and you may choose accordingly.
