Pls guide me over e-filing in SCI. I've filed a PIL as writ petition(Crl.) through e-filing website of SCI on 01 Feb,17 under election matters category as petitioner-in-person. After making payment thru bank gateway, a fee paid successfully message was displayed with tran. ref no., txn ID etc. How can I see my case status etc. After what time any notification regarding- acceptance, errors etc. is sent by e-mail, mobile etc. Matter is of national importance and I want it to be listed/heard at earliest. Could not attach Synopsis, but had attached petition, annexures, index etc

A Reference No. is allotted at the time of filing of fresh matter. Any Additional document/ application or re-filing of modified pages /Annexure can only be done by using the same Reference No. through re-filing option.

Once the matter is successfully e-filed, a " Dy.No. " is allotted to the matter and this will be e-mailed to you. You can track the status of your case through this "Dy.No."

Dy.No., defects, notices and letters are communicated to you through e-mail as well as through Registered Post by concerned dealing Section.

You can download this pdf which gives screenshots of which option does what: http://sc-efiling.nic.in/sc-efiling/helpdemo.pdf

PIL was e-filed as petitioner-in-person, but some other additional things along with defects have been notified by the e-filing section. List of all the necessary corrections required is received from SC over e-mail. Just a help required to cross-check the same before re-filing. Do memo of appearance have various proforma ? which one for writ petition(crl.) as PIL and petioner-in-person

Many thanks and it resolves almost all doubts. However, as have first time filed any petition, just wish an expert could cross-check the corrections so that re-filed with full confidence and error-free. ** National importance matter for electoral reform and shall change our govt. election system completely.

As PIL subject matter is for electoral reform to give differential vote power to electorates, criteria of which also sugested in petition, I wish to mention in the prayer to issue direction to ECI to not declare LA elections results, 2017 without the courts permission. Shall I just normally pray for this, or any specific writ type needs mentioning for any stay orders/directions by SCI
