Registration and GST formalities required for sole proprietorship
I have a business plan (Sole Proprietorship) based on e-commerce website (City Level) before starting my business I want to know which type of registration/approval/documentation/legal formalities necessary in india(U.P)for this type of business? Should I apply for GST at starting stage, if not then tell me in which condition this is necessary and please tell me about important point of GST.
Sir, the following is the list of documents and brief description of the legal documents
necessary for starting an e commerce business.
1) Sir firstly you must have the company registered under the registrar of companies as
per the Companies Act 2013. You must give name of company, details of owner,
Articles and Memorandum of associations and bank details. After approval and
payment of due fees you will get a certificate of incorporation.
2) Secondly you must apply directly for the GST tax regime as it has already come into
implementation from April 1 st 2017. There is an official government portal or
application and you can avail the same.
4) Fourth you must also secure a payment portal for receiving payment and open an bank
account in the name of the company.
