Removed from job on one day notice
I was employed with an organisation since Oct 2009 as Group manager. On 2nd may 2017 , got a call from HR and forced me to resign or else they will terminate my services and spoil my career. And finally very next day they sent me termination letter . Am being punished for no reason and on 1 day notice . Kindly suggest with legal options Regards
Go to Labour Court/Hig Court and get it stayed. Normally stay may not be given but ultimately you may get justice.
Could you detail the organisation you are a part of? Whether or not your termination is valid, would in most cases concerning private organisations, depend on the contract between your organisation and you. If there is a notice period in the contract, than the company will have to serve the same before it terminates you, or pay damages in its lieu
