Return policy of goods

Is there any device change policy within 8 days of use,if mobile handset gets off at battery saver mode. while i kept the handset for charge with there own charger provided with the handset sealed box,and did not get further charge & act like a dead device.Eventually by service engineer from HTC authourised service centre,today they hand over the device as SYSTEM HANG AT BOOTING. ,

In most of the cases such defects would be covered under the warranty as this seems to be a manufacturing defect. Hence you may be able to exchange your defective phone according to the terms of the warranty.

Even otherwise, since your problem has been prevailing from the time of purchase itself (only 8 days of usage), it implies that you were sold a defective product and it did not occur due to any fault of your own. Hence, it is the responsibility of the seller to replace the same as your purchase contract was for a good-condition phone. If the seller refuses to assist you then you may file a complaint against the company before the consumer court as there has been a deficiency in service on the part of the seller.
